POTSDAM -- SOAR will host a "Chemistry from the Humorous and Fun Side” presentation of chemical magic by Fadi Bou-Abdallah, professor of chemistry, Saturday, Sept. 29 from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
The show will be held in SUNY Potsdam’s Stowell Hall, Room 211 and is open to both children and adults. Colors, smoke, fire, and explosions will all be featured at the show. For directions and more information visit www.soarnorthcountry.org.
SOAR is a learning group, sponsored by SUNY Potsdam, through the Center for Lifelong Education and Recreation (CLEAR). SOAR members are “third age” adults, post family and career, who enjoy intellectual pursuits and good fellowship.
SOAR offers classes during two ten-week semesters each year, and members may take as many courses as they like.
