POTSDAM -- The SUNY Potsdam College Council will hold its first meeting of the 2015-16 academic year on Friday, Oct. 9, at 10 a.m. in the Raymond Hall seventh floor boardroom.
This meeting is open to the public.
College Council Chair June O'Neill will open the meeting, followed by a report from President Kristin G. Esterberg. Members of the president's council will offer updates on enrollment, fundraising and the budget. There will also be a student presentation from Paul Halley '16, discussing his internship experience researching college history for the bicentennial. Assistant Professor of Archaeology Dr. Timothy Messner will offer a faculty presentation on his research with students.
There are two action items at this meeting, including changes to the Student Code of Rights and Responsibilities, and a resolution naming the Bicentennial Plaza.
