POTSDAM -- The SUNY Potsdam College Council will hold its first meeting of the 2016-17 academic year on Friday, Oct. 7 at 10 a.m. in the Raymond Hall seventh floor boardroom. The meeting is open to the public.
College Council Chair June O'Neill will open the meeting, followed by a report from SUNY Potsdam President Kristin Esterberg. There will be a faculty presentation on the urban music initiative led by Dr. Marsha Baxter. There will be reports from the Faculty Senate, Student Government Association and the Divisions of Academic Affairs, Business Affairs, Advancement, Enrollment Management and Student Affairs.
The Council will consider a new policy on student rights and assembly procedures.
