POTSDAM -- Three former SUNY Potsdam athletes have been selected for induction into the Athletics Hall of Fame this fall.

Volleyball player Jamie Kraus '08, men's lacrosse and soccer player Rob Mee '90 and women's lacrosse player Carly Richards '12 will be inducted in a ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 29.

Kraus, a New Paltz native, is the fifth member of the volleyball program to be elected to the Bears Hall of Fame. She is Potsdam's only four-time, first team All-SUNYAC volleyball player.

Mee played three years for the men's soccer team and all four for men's lacrosse. On the soccer pitch, the Irondequoit native recorded eight goals and 14 assists for 30 points in 34 career games. He is tied for 12th on the Bears soccer scoring list and ranks second in all-time assists. He was an All-Empire Lacrosse League selection in each of his four seasons. He earned first team recognition in 1989 and 1990, second team in 1988 and third team in 1987.

Richards rewrote the Bears women's lacrosse record book in her four seasons. A second team All-SUNYAC selection in 2011, she finished her career ranked first in points (218), first in goals (147) and second in assists (71) after playing in 57 career games. The Niskayuna, N.Y. native still managed to become the first Bear to reach the 200-point plateau despite missing much of her senior season with a shoulder injury.

The inductions are part the fourth annual SUNY Potsdam Athletics Alumni Weekend, which will take place Sept. 28-29.
