NORWOOD -- The Seaway Career and Technical Education Center and SUNY Potsdam will host author Jane Latour Friday, April 12 from 8:45 to 11 a.m. at the Seaway Tech Center.
Latour, author of “Sisters in the Brotherhoods,” will discuss the history of women in various New York City trades during the 1970s and how women broke the gender barrier to blue-collar employment. Union representatives will also take part in the talk, which is part of the SUNY Potsdam academic festival.
All senior classes will attend the panel presentation.
