WANAKENA -- The SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) Ranger School will hold its 99th commencement ceremony Saturday, May 18.
A total of 45 students will graduate at the ceremony; 23 students will receive the AAS in forest technology, six students will receive the AAS in land surveying technology, and 16 students will receive the AAS in environmental and natural resources conservation.
Graduates will include North Country residents Kyle Brown, Jacob Eddy, Gary Jessmer, Jared Nichols and Kenneth Planty.
Commencement speakers will include Sen. Joseph A. Griffo; Bruce Bongarten, provost, SUNY ESF; Christopher Westbrook, director of the Ranger School; and Robert Coville, president of the class of 2013.
Commencement will begin at 11 a.m. at the Clifton-Fine Central School auditorium.
Awards will be presented to outstanding students and certificates will be given to the valedictorian and salutatorian.
