CANTON -- SUNY Canton will host a "women’s business boot camp" luncheon Wednesday, April 10 at the Campus Center.
The camp will run from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will focus on marketing.
A panel of women business owners will share marketing experiences, advice and networking.
Panelists will include Liz Halpen, Ms. Liz Artist Representative, Ogdensburg; Robin Barkley, The Ole Smokehouse, Madrid; Tania Sterling, TLC Real Estate, Gouverneur; Carmen Gendebien, Glow Day Skincare and Spa, Canton; Beverly Lazore, First Class Seconds, Akwesasne and Carol Spadaccini, Coakley’s Carpet One Ace Hardware, Canton.
The “mini marketplace” will return, allowing attendees to show and sell their goods to other participants.
The registration fee is $30 per person, which includes the lunch program and a display table.
The boot camp is sponsored by the Reh Center for Entrepreneurship at Clarkson University.
