CANTON -- Students and community members who are searching for free business attire are invited to SUNY Canton's annual Professional Clothing Fair March 25-27 in the Dana Hall gymnasium.
The event will start with a special student-only day from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 25.
Men's and women's gently used clothing will be available for the general public to browse from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 26 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, March 27.
All clothing is free and available to the public.
"This event is a great opportunity for our students and community members to get ready for interviews and internships with the right outfit," said SUNY Canton Executive Director for Community Programs Elizabeth Connolly. "We have a dedicated committee of faculty and staff who volunteer their time to put this event together, and it's all worth the effort when we see a student dressed for success."
Those interested in donating clothing items for the fair are asked to drop them off at Dana Hall from March 21 through March 25.
For more information, or to volunteer, contact Elizabeth Connolly at 386-7013 or connolly@canton.edu.
The fair is co-sponsored by SUNY Canton and the St. Lawrence County Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW).
