CANTON -- SUNY Canton will host a free home energy performance presentation at noon, Friday, Feb. 10, in Halford Hall.
Jerry K. Loch, outreach coordinator for the Watertown-based Green Jobs, Green New York program, will describe the best questions to ask when considering updates.
“Houses work as a system,” Loch said. “When you make a home more efficient, you can also positively change its safety and comfort levels.”
The presentation is sponsored by the SUNY Canton Career Ready Education and Success Training (CREST) Center for Workforce Development and the Adirondack North Country Association (ANCA), an independent Contractor for New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). Participants can also receive a comprehensive home energy assessment.
To RSVP, email crest@canton.edu, or call 315-386-7686. Attendees are invited to bring their lunches.
