TUPPER LAKE -- Big Tupper Brewing will once again host a Summer Block Party on Friday, July 20, featuring Potsdam band Double Axel.
Beginning at 4 p.m. at the BTB pub, the Deep Blue Band will kick things off with an exciting live blues experience. These talented musicians deliver a tasty performance of blues standards and contemporary gems, from Howlin’ Wolf and Buddy Guy to Coco Montoya and Robben Ford.
At 7 p.m., Cliff Avenue will be closed off in front of the Big Tupper Brewing Pub and the best in live classic rock will get underway with one of the North Country’s most popular rock and roll bands. Double Axel from Potsdam will perform all of the great classic rock sounds, from 7 to 10 p.m. Double Axel brings the best of such bands as Foreigner, Bryan Adams, Rolling Stones, and many more.
As part of the Block Party festivities, there will be an outdoor grill and bar service, plus a BTB Corn Hole Tournament. Teams of two are encouraged to sign up and have a chance at winning a variety of prizes.
