NORWOOD -- The Norwood Village Green Concert Series presents The Sue Foley/Peter Karp Blues Band Thursday, June 14 at 7 p.m.
Dozens of recordings and awards have marked the career of Sue Foley. Her latest two projects are in partnership with Peter Karp. Together they have collaborated on “He Said – She Said’ and “Beyond the Crossroads” for the Blind Pig label.
"He Said - She Said" is an inspired and winning collaboration of original songs by Canadian Juno award winner Sue Foley and critically acclaimed songwriter Peter Karp. The songs played by the duo are adapted from letters and e-mails sent between them over a 2-year period. The show encompasses folk, jazz, flamenco and blues.
Their first album released in March 2010 on Blind Pig Records and was a number one hit on the Blues Chart for six weeks. Also Top 10 on Billboard.
Their second album on the Blind Pig Label, “Beyond the Crossroads,” released in 2011.
Admission is free for both events, but donations will be accepted.
