RENSSELAER FALLS -- A “Succession Walk” will be held May 16 from 9:30 a.m. until noon to explore different examples of succession from plants that begin the process on solid rock to old field herbaceous plants to pioneer woody plants.
Participants should meet at the East Entrance parking lot, proceed through old fields and rocky pastureland, then follow trails through an old beech/maple forest so that we may observe this process in its entirety.
