COLTON – The Friends of the Colton-Hepburn Library invite area artists of all ages to participate in the Fourth Biennial Community Art Show, on display for the month of August.
Traditional art forms suitable for display in a public library will be accepted for exhibition; i.e. painting, drawing, photography, original prints, and small sculpture. All 2-D work must be matted or framed.
The show will not be juried but a "Visitor's Choice" award will be given to the most popular work at the end of the show.
Work may be offered for sale with 20 percent commission benefiting the library. There is a limit of two entries per artist.
Work is due at the library between July 28 and 31. An opening reception for artists and the community will be held Wednesday, Aug. 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. Entry forms can be picked up at the library.
