Students Without Borders to host golf tournament in Canton Sept. 14

CANTON -- The Clarkson University physician assistants Students Without Borders program will host a “Par with PAs” golf tournament, followed by silent auction and dinner, Saturday, Sept. 14.

The format will be a four person scramble at Partridge Run golf club, with a 1 p.m. shotgun start.

The fee will be $260 per foursome. Prizes will be given for first, second, and third place teams. Prizes will also be given for closest to the pin, longest drive, and straightest drive.

A 50/50 and Milligan’s will be coordinated the day of the tournament.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the St. Lawrence County Health Initiative’s Access to Care program, which provides screenings, follow-up care, and prescription assistance for the uninsured.

The remaining proceeds will help provide care and medications to patients in the Dominican Republic during a medical mission trip.
