CANTON -- The public is invited to a screening of “Changing Land, Living Tradition,” a short student-made film produced in partnership between Nature Up North and TAUNY.
The film, shown at the TAUNY Center, 53 Main St., Thursday, May 4, from 7-9 p.m., documents the complex relationship between the North Country environment and the rich traditions people practice in this setting.
Following the screening, there will be a Q&A and a reception featuring refreshments inspired by the local foodways included in the project.
There is a suggested donation of $5 for this program.
