CANTON -- A new six-week session of Strengthening and Toning Exercise Class begins Tuesday, Sept. 9 and continues through Thursday, Oct. 16.
There will be a free trial class Thursday, Sept. 4 open to all. Classes are held Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 8 a.m. in the St. Lawrence University fitness center multi-purpose room, and taught by certified fitness instructor Teresa Stone.
The weight-bearing exercises are designed to strengthen muscles, create definition and tone, improve bone density and help balance and stability by focusing on core muscles.
All equipment is provided.
Participants need not be members of the fitness center.
The fee for 12 classes is $48; prices will increase after the first week of class.
