POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam's Department of Theatre and Dance will feature its production of "A Streetcar Named Desire" by Tennessee Williams March 24-29 in the Black Box Theater in SUNY Potsdam's Performing Arts Center.
Performances will run from Tuesday, March 24 to Saturday, March 28, with shows at 7:30 p.m., followed by a matinee at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 29.
Starring a cast of students, the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama is directed by Jay Pecora, with settings by Todd P. Canedy and lighting by Don Borsh.
The cast includes both graduating seniors (Miles Willow as Stanley) and first-year students (Emily Reagen as Stella).
Other actors include: Claire Ignatuk as Blanche Dubois, Raymond Weber as Mitch, James Gillick as Steve, Courtney Butler as Eunice, Felicia Thompson as woman/nurse, Sean Sansevere as Pablo and Patrick Downs as young collector/doctor.
