WINTHROP -- The Stockholm Historical Organization’s “Indoor Yard and Bake Sale” will be held Saturday, Feb. 17, in the old Stockholm Municipal Building, 607 SH 11C. The sale opens at 9 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m.
Proceeds benefit the historical preservation and research operations of the organization.
They will also fund a scholarship for a graduating SLC senior each year. For info on how to become a member of The Stockholm Historical Organization, speak with a member at the sale.
Regular meetings are held at 1 p.m. the first Thursday of every month and the dues are $5 per year.
The Indoor Yard and Bake sale is a part of the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce Winter Carnival for 2018.
The theme of the carnival this year is “The Haunting of The Tri-Town.”
