CANTON -- The Stillman Foote Running Club will hold the first race of the 2013 Summer Sunset 5k Series Tuesday, June 11 at 7:30 p.m. on the Stillman Foote cross-country course, St. Lawrence University campus.
The run typically attracts hundreds of runners and walkers of all abilities from the North Country and Canada.
Those who participate in all three series events will earn a Summer Sunset T-shirt.
In addition to the 5k race, a one-mile fun run will be held at 7:15 p.m., prior to the 5k start. Competitors in all three one-mile runs will also receive T-shirts.
Registration will begin at 6:30 p.m. across Park Street from the Augsbury Physical Education Center at SLU.
The series fee is $5, or $2 per race.
The second race will be held Tuesday, July 9 and the third will be Tuesday, August 13. Both will be at 7:30 p.m.
