CANTON -- The second annual Steps for Savana 5k walk/run will be held May 4. Savana O’Shea was born with a rare genetic disorder called partial trsiomy 9.
She died Jan. 27. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the opening ceremonies at 9:30 a.m. The run will take place on the Remington Recreational Trail, surrounding the Partridge Run Golf course.
The fee will be $20 prior to April 5 with a T-shirt, or $25 the day of the race.
All proceeds will benefit the Golisano Children’s Hospital and the Steps for Savana Memorial Fund, which assists local families with medical and travel expenses.
