MASSENA -- Steelin' Country will perform Saturday, Feb. 24, from 6-10 p.m., for a sweetheart dance hosted by the Massena Senior Citizens, 61 Beach St., in the community center.
The Lisbon-based group consists of Kirk Robinson on pedal steel guitar, Michelle Robinson on vocals and guitar, Terry Robinson on guitar, Josh Barkley on bass and keyboards, and Alex Hammond on percussion and vocals.
The band plays "real country" music from the past, along with several original compositions. Copies of their classic-country album, “Songs Mama Loved,” featuring original and cover songs, will be available.
There will be a dance contest, raffles, and food available, with the kitchen opening at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $5 for those older than 18.
