LISBON -- The Town of Lisbon and Lisbon Wesleyan Church are co-sponsoring a live concert performance by "Steelin' Country" on Friday, Aug. 12 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the church's air-conditioned Fellowship Hall, 48 Church St.
"Steelin' Country" is a collective of area musicians playing "real country" music from the past, along with some original compositions.
Alex Hammond of the Waddington-based Acoustic Brothers will join the band for a special performance.
Build-your-own ice cream sundaes will be available and the admission cost is a canned food item donation.
