CANTON -- State Deputy Secretary for Local Government Dede Scozzafava will discuss school sharing, cooperation, consolidation and mergers at a meting with Canton school parents at 10 a.m. June 5.
The meeting will be n the west conference room at the BOCES building at 40 W. Main St.
Though the daytime meeting was not ideal, the organizers felt that they should goahead with the meeting and not wait until they could get an evening appointment with Scozzafava, former congressional candidate, North Country assemblywoman and mayor of Gouverneur.
