STAR LAKE -- Star Lake's firemen's field days, set for this weekend, will include a parade, fireworks, a dance, kids' activities, a barbeque, crafts and vendors.
The event starts July 12 at noon with kids' games, crafts, vendors and raffles. There will be a bounce house and slip-n-slide, which is $20 for an all-day pass. The parade starts at 7 p.m. with fireworks over the municipal golf course following after dark. A dance featuring Paparazzi Scandal will follow the fireworks and go until 1 a.m.
July 13 includes an auction and chicken barbeque at noon. Only 100 BBQs will be available.
