MADRID – St. Lawrence Valley Paddlers will host the 19th annual Madrid Canoe Races on Saturday and Sunday, June 12 and 13, at Madrid Municipal Park, Rt. 345.

C-1, C-2, Amateur Marathon (9 mile), C-2 Pro, and recreational races will be featured. Rough camping facilities and a playground are available at the community center and park. All participants receive a race T-shirt. Race fees vary by category.

A dinner and awards ceremony will be held on Sunday.
