CANTON -- St. Lawrence University will host a senior week fireworks display, beginning at dusk Friday, May 20.
Fireworks will be discharged from the intramural fields, located on the south end of campus adjacent to the J-parking lot off of Park Street. As a result, the J-Lot will be closed beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday in the interest of safety and will remain closed until the fireworks display ends.
Those holding St. Lawrence University parking permits will be asked to move their vehicles to the D-Lot, located behind the Newell Athletic Complex.
The intramural field perimeter will be marked with yellow caution tape to restrict access to this area until the display is completed. Once the fireworks display begins, the adjacent campus roadways will be closed to vehicle traffic for safety in the discharge area.
