CANTON – St. Lawrence University Professor Jeff Chiarenzelli will be the pulpit guest Sunday, Aug. 12 at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Canton.
Chiarenzelli will reflect on his personal experience of what matters most, in his sermon “Lessons Learned from Heart Disease.”
A geologist and environmental scientist whose primary area of interest is the origin of crystalline rocks of the Adirondack region, Chiarenzelli is professor and chair of the geology department at SLU.
He teaches introductory geology, mineralogy, and geochemistry, and is a 1981 graduate of the university.
