CANTON -- St. Lawrence University will host a lecture by Silvia Pedraza on migration research Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Hepburn Hall (Room 218). Pedraza, professor of sociology and American culture at the University of Michigan, will discuss whether immigrants are able to assimilate to new lives in the United States.
