CANTON -- A panel of St. Lawrence University faculty will discuss the upcoming climate change convention at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30, in Peterson-Kermani Performance Hall.
The panel will consist of associate professor of environmental studies Jon Rosales, assistant professor of performance and communication arts Jessica Prody and assistant professor of sociology Daniel McLane.
The faculty panelists will cover the historical significance of the 21st Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, otherwise known as COP21.
The main agenda items for the COP will be covered in context of avoiding the most dangerous elements of climatic change. Key stakeholders in this process will also be highlighted with special attention given to environmental groups and developing countries.
