CANTON -- St. Lawrence University will hold a Blessing of the Animals in the University Quad at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4.
The free event is sponsored by the SLU Chaplain's Office and Newman Club and open to the public.
Snack bags for dogs, cats, rodents, birds, horses will be provided and standard refreshments will also be available.
Attendees are invited to bring their pets for pictures and a celebration of animal companionship.
