CANTON — Pianist, chamber musician, conductor and improviser Blair McMillen will perform a solo recital at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, in St. Lawrence University’s Peterson-Kermani Performance Hall.
McMillen plays a variety of musical styles, from medieval keyboard manuscripts to improvisation-based music of all types. His performance will include works by Granados, Cage, Debussy, Ives and Mussorgsky.
He recently performed in Carnegie Hall, as a soloist with the American Symphony Orchestra. Info: Julia Pomainville at 229-5184.
