POTSDAM -- Revised tryout dates for the newly expanded range of St. Lawrence Steel AA Hockey teams for the 2015-2016 season are set for March and April.
Cost for tryouts is $30 per player.
Those who wish to play must be registered with USA Hockey. They also must have a player’s release from their current organization before trying out. Those who registered with Canton Minor Hockey during the 2014-2015 season do not need a new release.
The revised tryout schedule: Pee-wee majors (2003 birth year) at SUNY Canton Roos House: March 20, 6 to 8 p.m.; Bantam minors (2002 birth year), SUNY Potsdam Maxcy Hall: March 31, 5 to 6:10 p.m.; April 2, 5 to 6:10 p.m.; April 23, 5 to 6 p.m.; April 24, 6:15 to 7:15 p.m.; Bantam majors (2001 birth year), SUNY Potsdam Maxcy Hall: March 31, 6:20-7:30 p.m.; April 2, 6:20 to 7:30 p.m.; April 23, 6:15 to 7:15 p.m.; April 26, 6:15 to 7:15 p.m.; Midget minors (2000 birth year), SUNY Potsdam Maxcy Hall: March 31, 7:45 to 9 p.m.; April 2, 7:45 to 9 p.m.; April 21, 5 to 6:15 p.m.; More info: cantonminorhockey@gmail.com.
