WADDINGTON -- The St. Lawrence River Walleye Association is hosting their annual Opening Day Derby on May 5 from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the boat launch at Whitaker Park. Scales opening at noon.
The entry fee is $50 per 2 person team with an optional $20 per team big fish contest. There will also be a $10 Conservation fee for non-member teams.
The awards ceremony will be held at the JC River Run Bar & Grill at 4 p.m.
Sign up locations are: Massena Bait & Tackle, East Hatfield Road, and Steve’s Stop and Shop in Louisville.
