St Lawrence River Showdown Jamboree and Redneck Winter Games in Waddington set for Sunday, Feb. 17

WADDINGTON -- St Lawrence River Showdown Jamboree and Redneck Winter Games are set for Sunday, Feb. 17 starting at noon.

Events are set for JC's River Run Bar & Grill and at the Waddington Arena.

Olympic-style Redneck games include Turkey Bowling, Toilet Seat Horse Shoes, Toilet Paper Relay, Redneck Bull Riding, Ladies Fry Pan Toss, Hay Bale Throw and Tug of War.

Registration of a four-person team is $100 before Feb. 15 and $125 on the day of games. There must be at least one female on a team, or one member dressed as a female. Contestants must be 16 and older. Prizes will be awarded for Grand Champion Rednecks and Best Redneck Team Costume.

Spectator admission is $5.

There will be entertainment all day, Todd Truax from 102.9 as emcee and DJ, Playback, Atomic Precipitation, Amy Rivera, Sudden Impact and The Max Ryder Band., and there will be a silent auction, raffles, and games for kids.

Proceeds support the Bassmaster Elite Series tournament to be held in Waddington this August.
