MADRID -- The St. Lawrence Power & Equipment Museum, NYS Hwy. 345, will be open on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month through October from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the same schedule as open houses of the Madrid Historical Society’s Walker House Museum, County Route 31.
Visitors are invited to walk the grounds, browse and view the museum buildings and exhibits for free.
Among the pre-1950’s replica and original structures are the Cobbler Shop, School House, Farm House, Granary, Maple Sugar House, Gas Station, Horse Drawn Equipment building, and the collection building, which houses numerous antique farm machinery, implements and displays.
