CANTON -- The St. Lawrence County Rock & Mineral Club will raffle off an amethyst cathedral on the final day of its 50th Gem & Mineral Show & Swap at the Canton Pavilion, 90 Lincoln St., on Sunday, Aug. 21 at 2 p.m.
An amethyst cathedral is a natural mineral formation, similar to a large geode, that has been cut to reveal an interior lined with purple amethyst crystals.
Tickets for a chance to win the cathedral may be purchased any time during the show, which begins on Saturday, Aug. 20.
