POTSDAM -- Sigma Phi Epsilon of Clarkson University will hold a 24-hour "Bike-A-Thon" at Cheel Arena beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28.
Members of the fraternity will take turns riding a stationary bike for the full 24 hours to raise money to aid the reopening of the St. Lawrence County Literacy Center, which closed in August due to a lack of funding. Aside from accepting donations, a raffle for a FitBit and lottery basket will also be held during the event. Tickets will be available for $5.
An online donation page is also available at www.gofundme.com/2sk3jy4?ssid=781645189&pos=8.
