CANTON – Those looking for a good home for their gently used books can donate them to the St. Lawrence County Historical Association’s Used Book Bonanza.
The event will be held at the historical association’s home, Silas Wright House, 3 East Main St., during St. Lawrence County Dairy Festival Weekend, Friday, June 5, noon-8 p.m. and Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Hardcover and paperback fiction, nonfiction, poetry, photographs, art, cooking, crafts, gardening, leisure activities, drama, music, and of course, history books are welcome.
Mildewed books, books in poor condition, textbooks, out-of-date reference books, encyclopedias or magazines will not be accepted. Bring books to 3 East Main St., during regular open hours, Tuesday through Saturday noon to 4 p.m., Friday noon to 8 p.m.
