St. Lawrence County Historical Association’s Antique & Artisan Show and Sale set for Saturday

CANTON – The St. Lawrence County Historical Association’s 28th annual Antique & Artisan Show and Sale will be held Saturday, April 28 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Canton’s McKenney Middle School, 99 State St.

The event is sponsored by Blanchard’s Auction Service, Mort Backus & Sons, and Niles Asset Management Inc.

Vendors from St. Lawrence, Franklin, Jefferson, and Lewis Counties will have a wide variety of items on hand.

Participating antique dealers and artisans and their goods include (but are not limited to):

Harvest Herb Company, Malone, with culinary herbal blends, jam, potpourri; Ice House Antiques, Raymondville with antiques and collectibles; Grasse River Antiques, Canton with glass and china; Country Collectibles, Moira, with glass, jewelry, timepieces and ephemera; Breakable Collectibles, Heuvelton with glass, jewelry; Heirlooms, Harrisville with yarn and hand-knit items; My Corner Studio, Canton with silversmithing; Specialtea Teas, Lisbon with loose-leaf teas; Artbank, Canton with stamps, postcards, dishes, and artwork; and The Kitschy Nook, Canton with vintage items from the mid-20th century

Admission is $4

There will be lunch, dessert and a raffle for a full-size flannel quilt, donated by Romayne Hartshorn.

A new feature of this year’s show is the presence of Fleur de Lis Estate Services of Canton, an accredited and certified appraisal service. One item may be appraised per paid admission to the event.

There is free parking at the school.
