The show includes a quilt raffle, a silent auction, and a luncheon. The SLCHA’s Antique and Artisan Show and Sale at Canton’s McKenney Middle School, 99 State St. takes place Saturday, April 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 pm.
There will be antique dealers, artisans and more.
Raffle tickets for the full-size quilt, pieced by Pat Dominie of Morley and quilted by Phyllis Dumas of Canton, will be available at the show. The pattern, “Chimney and Cornerstones,” is a 19th century variation that combines the “Log Cabin” and “Irish Chain” blocks. Tickets are $1 each or six chances for $5, and will be available before the show at the Silas Wright House, 3 East Main St.
Items donated for the silent auction include antique china, linens, artwork, and much more! Bidding closes at 3:30 p.m., with the winning bids announced shortly after. One does not have to be present to win.
A lunch will be served in the middle school cafeteria. Soup and sandwiches will be served by volunteer waitresses.
There is free parking at the school.
Admission is $4 and kids 10 and under are free.
