CANTON -- The St. Lawrence County Historical Association will host “Trains and Trolleys of St. Lawrence County” Oct. 16 at Silas Wright House, 3 East Main St.
The power presentation by Fred Rollins will be at the next Patricia Harrington Carson Brown Bag Lunch program at noon. Admission is free. Bring your own lunch and enjoy a beverage and dessert provided by SLCHA.
Rollins is a staff member at the Potsdam Public Museum and will share images from his personal collection of historic postcards and other rare views from a variety of sources including the St. Lawrence County Historical Association.
Rollins will also share brief histories of each railroad including, if the line no longer exists, when it went out of service. Participants are invited to bring in railroad related postcards or photos for the speaker to identify after the program.
