CANTON -- Archives Manager JeanMarie Martello will speak about the St. Lawrence County Historical Association's archives for the next brown bag lunch at noon Oct. 17 at the 3 East Main St.
Martello will show examples from the 1940 Army Maneuver and St. Lawrence Seaway Construction and Dedication collections, as well as resources for family history research.
The program will end with a tour of the SLCHA Archives.
Martello is the archive manager of the St. Lawrence County Historical Association and has been with the association since 2002.
She does research fulfilling requests for information, helps people who come in to do historical or genealogical research, and maintains the archives. Martello has a Bachelors of Art in Anthropology, from SUNY Potsdam.
