CANTON -- The next St. Lawrence County Historical Association Civil War Roundtable will discuss the Atlanta Campaign on Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. at 3 East Main St.
The Atlanta Campaign was a highly coordinated offensive devised by General U.S. Grant to capture Atlanta, Georgia, the industrial, supply, and communications center of the Confederacy.
Stanley Maine will lead a discussion of the Atlanta Campaign and the participating units from Northern NY including the 60th New York Volunteer Infantry.
