CANTON – The St. Lawrence County Historical Association will close for Thanksgiving Thursday, November 24 and Friday, Nov. 25.
The museum and archives open for the start of the holiday shopping season Saturday, Nov. 26, noon to 4 p.m. The SLCHA Gift Shop has adult and children’s local history books, old-time toys and games, and wooden miniatures of historic St. Lawrence County structures. The newest miniatures in the series are the Scotch Presbyterian Church in Chipman, the old Ogdensburg Armory, and the Cranberry Lake Dam.
