CANTON – Looking to find a home for an antique or collectible that you are ready to part with?
The St. Lawrence County Historical Association is accepting donations for their silent auction, which is part of the SLCHA’s 26th annual Antique & Artisan Show and Sale Saturday, April 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Canton’s McKenney Middle School, 99 State St.
Suggested donations for the silent auction include collectibles, antiques (including furniture), glassware, prints, tools, paintings, stoneware, primitives, pottery, linens, lamps, candle holders, maps, books and documents.
Donations may be dropped off by April 10 at the Silas Wright House, 3 East Main St., from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and noon to 8 p.m. on Friday.
In addition to the silent auction, the show will feature vendors from all across the North Country with a wide variety of items, a quilt raffle, and a luncheon with proceeds benefitting the association.
