CANTON -- The St. Lawrence County Environmental Management Council meets Wednesday to hear about the emerald ash borer and its potential destructive power on North Country forests.
The council meets at 6 p.m. in the Public Safety Complex at 49 1/2 Court St., across from the courthouse.
All are welcome to attend.
The ash borer has been on the march and has reached St. Lawrence County. The invasive bug bores into ash trees, slowly killing them.
