CANTON -- If you are interested in learning safer logging practices, the New York Center for Agricultural Medicine and Health (NYCAMH) is sponsoring a free Level 2 Game of Logging Training for farmers at the St. Lawrence County Cooperative Extension Learning Farm Rt. 68 in Canton on March 8.
The class, which features hands-on chainsaw training, will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Participants should bring along a chainsaw, personal protective equipment, and a packed lunch.
