CANTON -- The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce is starting a monthly webinar series by members, for members.

They are planned for the first Wednesday of every month, from noon to 1 p.m. Chamber Executive Director Brooke Rouse says the presentations are designed to provide a skill that essentially can be understood in an hour and immediately put to use.

“We recognize that our members are located throughout a large region and it’s not always possible for a person to travel at a certain time to take advantage of a learning opportunity. Our hope is to make the information accessible to all members,” she said.

Attendees only need a computer with internet connection and a speaker.

Rob Peters of NNY Information Services will present the Wednesday, May 6 webinar.

His presentation, "Customer Relationship Management: A Stronger Strategy for Knowing Your Customers" will guide attendees through processes to help them know their customers better, design and implement strategies to serve those customers, as well as allocate resources to understand and develop customer relationships. Peters stresses the importance of customer relationship management in being competitive in today’s economy.

Chamber members have access to recorded webinars if they were unable to login at the time of the event.
