POTSDAM -- The St. Lawrence County Arts Council will offer visual arts classes at downtown Snell Hall, 41 Elm St.
Cheryl Mirer will teach basic linoleum block printing Fridays, May 17 and 24 from 6 to 9 p.m. for $70. Students should wear a smock.
Sara Lynch will teach basic clay skills in slab and solid sculpture for $30. Students under seven need adult supervision. The class will meet Saturday, May 25 from 3 to 5:30 p.m.
Isack Azaev will teach beginning and intermediate level adult students how to create charcoal drawings Thursdays, May 30 and June 6 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The cost is $30 and the registration deadline is Saturday, May 25.
