WADDINGTON -- The St. Lawrence County AARP is hosting a public luncheon on May 16, from noon-1:30 p.m., at J.C.s River Run Bar and Grill, 17 Bowling Court.
The presenter is Andrea Montgomery, director, county Office for the Aging, who will deliver the address “The Changing Face of Aging – what older adults need to know about programs, services and advocacy.” Montgomery will provide an oversight of the comprehensive services offered by the Office for the Aging; as well as discuss the changing face of aging in today’s world and how it will impact us all.
Lunch is $13 and includes a choice hot turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes and honey carrots; fish sandwich with seafood chowder and cole slaw; or grilled chicken breast salad, with all the trimmings, and dressing. A non-alcoholic beverage of choice will be provided.
